Round 2 - U11 A Boys

The Under 11A’s have started the season well with two (2) victories under their belt. The first round saw the U11A’s win against Nunawading 4-2 at home and this week the boy’s capitalised on their hard pre-season training with Peter Haloulos the U11A’s coach.
This week’s game started on a very brisk morning against Ringwood City but it did not take long for our boy’s to warm up and settle in to a rhythm with a magnificent strike from Jonathon Stiliadis in the 6th minute of the first half to put Rovers ahead.
All the boy’s concentrate well and we saw another three (3) goals by half time with goals from Stefan Cicmil, Nikolas Thyssen and another by Jonathon Stiliadis. The first half was being controlled on the right wing were Jack Samman was in control.
The second half was better than the first with Jack Samman taking full advantage and control of the game on the right. The Rovers then realising the right wing was the path to success they exploited it and started piling on the goals with Jonathon Stiliadis scoring another two (2) goals to complete his hat trick plus one for good measure. Alex Humbert also scoring a hat trick in the second half with Stefan Cicmil adding to his tally from the first half with one more, and not forgetting a great strike from James Megas for his goal.
The final score Doncaster Rovers 11 – Ringwood City 1 with Jack Samman being awarded “MAN of the MATCH”
