Rovers ease to victory.
Saturday 31 May (away) v. Nunawading.
On a glorious day, Rovers dominated the last day of autumn with a comprehensive win against Nunawading.
In total control throughout, it was only a matter of time before we converted all our possession into goals. Once we started passing the ball and using the huge spaces, Alex, Josh and Yanni all managed to get on the scoresheet before half-time.
Strong contributions all over the pitch kept Kirk redundant in goal in the second half.
Rovers added to their tally with Alex grabbing a hat-trick, Josh 2, Yanni, Matthew and James rounding off the scoring for an 8 – 0 win.
Lachie and Jonathon N worked well together down the left, whilst our defence repelled the few breaks Nunawading conjured up. Jonathon S, Matty, Jeremy, Anton, Jason and Jacob all rotated around different positions, providing the opportunities for us to win at ease.
