FFV Coaches Nomination
Please find below my Candidate’s statement:
STATEMENT OF SUPPORT FOR POSITION ON COACHES STANDING COMMITTEE
BILL MIHALOUDIS
To whom it may concern,
I am 39 Years of age and have nominated for the position on the Coaches Standing Committee. I am currently coaching the Doncaster Rovers U14A girl’s team.
Candidate’s Statement:
It all starts from the junior coaches preparing players:
My vision is to ensure all future coaches are certified and registered.
I believe each coach should develop an understanding of the importance of relating positively to each of their players so that they understand each players strengths and weaknesses and develop them to achieve their maximum potential, and enjoyment for the game.
For this to happen, all coaches must be trained up which will enable them to on pass the skills to get the best out of their team and preparing players for the international circuit.
Also it should be compulsory for all current and future Junior Coaches’ to have a WWCC (WORKING WITH CHILDRENS CHECK) before being appointed the role of Coach for the safety and security of our Children under the age of 18 Years.
Yours faithfully
Bill Mihaloudis

U9s Match Report 02/06
DONCASTER ROVERS U9’s
‘ The Blues Twos’
Saturday 2 June (Home)
v. Bulleen
With a full squad to choose from, we entered the game full of confidence against a Bulleen side unbeaten in their 2 years playing together.
A battling first half display encouraged the boys that they had Bulleen knowing they had a battle on their hands.
A combination of strong tackling and some neat passing was very encouraging. A great chance for Alex was only narrowly just off target, and the half-time score was locked at 0 – 0.
A steady flow of substitutions gave all the boys an opportunity to find their feet and fulfill different roles.
However, as the game wore on, Bulleen grabbed the initiative, scoring 2 quick goals. This encouraged the B2s to fight back, and Ari slotted home a neat finish that his hard work and effort deserved. We couldn’t find an equaliser, and lost 2 – 1.
Another encouraging performance, and hopefully we can work on some of our techniques and positional awareness in training over the coming weeks.
Next Saturday, away at Riversdale, 11am kick-off, at Hartwell Reserve, Melway Ref 60 E6.
