FFV wishes to advise all clubs and associations that due to the introduction of Stage 2 Water Restrictions, FFV will not sanction any further out of season competitions, cups or friendly matches unless it has the written consent of the venue owner. This decision takes effect immediately until further notice. In taking this action, FFV has taken into account the issues faced by venue owners and the increased likelihood of grounds deteriorating over the summer months. It is therefore imperative clubs and other organisations work with FFV to ensure traffic on playing grounds is restricted in the immediate short term so that winter competition in 2007 can proceed.
